The Amarok GVM Kit has been developed in Australia by Net 4x4 and increases the GVM of your Volkswagen Amarok to 3500kg, and is available for both the 2.0 litre 4-cylinder and the 3.0 litre v6 Amarok.

Our GVM Upgrade Kit is available for pre-registration on new vehicles Austalia-wide via SSM, and as a State Certified GVM Upgrade for Registered Vehicles under Vehicles Modification Approval SSM.

Supply of the GVM Upgrade starts at $3950 for the 3500kg upgrade kit, including 300kg leaves

Conditional Requirements

• GVM certification is invalid with any alternative components fitted to the vehicle not listed below

• SSM GVM kits can only be installed by Net 4x4 authorised Installers & must be a registered production facility under RVCS.

• Vehicles are able to run all VW Amarok genuine rims & appropriately rated aftermarket rims, tyre size must be a legal variant to a maximum diameter of 804mm (approx. 32”) with a tread width & rating of LT265.

• Front axle capacity must not exceed 1445kg

• Rear axle capacity must not exceed 2055kg for the 3500kg GVM.

• The 3500kg GVM can only use the 180kg, 300kg & 500kg leaves listed below

• The 3500kg GVM can use either of the front coils listed below

• Vehicles must be in a roadworthy condition for the GVM to be issued.

• Prior to a new compliance sticker being issued for SMM GVM Vehicles not fitted at the Net 4x4 facility pictures of the listed components below, pictures of a legal variant of the nominated tyre size installed on the vehicle & a picture of the vehicles VIN plate must be supplied to Net 4x4.

• Prior to Engineering Certificates being issued for State Certified GVM Vehicles pictures of the listed components below, pictures of a legal variant of the nominated tyre size installed on the vehicle & a picture of the vehicles VIN & registration plate along with a weigh bridge & current wheel alignment paperwork must be supplied to Net 4x4.

• State Certified GVM will require inspection by a RVCS accredited engineer authorised for the state of registration if not installed at the Net4x4 facility.

Struts and Shocks

Our Uprated Custom Bilstein B6 struts & shocks have been developed by Net 4x4 in conjunction with Bilstein to meet the harsh Australian conditions. They provide the ultimate in strength, ride & improved handling bar none for both the 2.0lt & the new 3.0lt V6. The Uprated Custom Bilsteins for the VW Amarok are made exclusively for Net 4x4.            Only the Net4x4 Uprated Bilstein are used in our GVM kits.

The front struts have an increased top thread from the standard 12mm to 14mm for additional strength, custom dampening & extra grooves for coil seat height adjustment to customise your ride heaight according to your vehicles setup. The rear shocks are 25mm longer for increased axle articulation, custom dampening the wall thickness has been increased over the standard Bilsteins which are 2mm to 3mm for increased impact protection.

Coils

H & R coils are made by a cold wound process, meaning they are more resistant to sagging than hot wound coils.

We have worked exclusively with H & R to develop these coils to suit the demands of the Australian driver both to obtain the best ride both on and off-road in the VW Amarok.

The standard weight coils are ideal if you want a 35mm lift without a bullbar and winch.

Leaves

We have worked with Dobinson's as our supplier of rear leaves, with leaf options of 180kg, 300kg and 500kg available.  Please note if you wish to use 180kg leaves in your GVM kit, we request you discuss your options with us, as you may require an airbag kit to supplement the leaves.

Diff Drop

We recommend that all V6 Amaroks have a diff drop kit installed when any form of suspension lift is installed to preserve the CV joints once the vehicle is lifted.
